Penny is a power chewer. This Nylabone with two bones at each end is her favorite. She moves on her back and growls/talks to it. She is a very content goof ball!
Penny always loved her toys. She was pretty good about not chewing furniture except she pulled the wall paper off the wall. My favorite story about Penny was the time my son-in -law was visiting and came down to breakfast in his basketball shorts. Penny jumped up and pulled those shorts down to the ground.
I imagine she was quite a hand-full. She has been known to have a taste for a little fabric here and there. She still loves paper (typical pup). We keep the bathroom doors closed as toilet paper is her favorite. Don’t worry! My first LD, Mississippi, had a thing for leather, especially shoes and Wil’s leather jacket. I love her very much and she sticks to me like glue.
We have learned a lot in raising puppies. In our downstairs lavatory, the toilet paper holder is mounted about 5 feet above the floor and we have installed a towel ring much higher than the original towel bar.
First a dog who’s in to leather, and then Penny, who likes to interface with the carpet for whatever scraps she can find. You have some perverted dogs. 😀
Dogs are scavengers by their very nature. Gotta love them!
