Wil has been wanting a beer fridge since before we left Augusta, GA. Thanks to Target Red Card, he now has one. Introducing our Haier 3.9 cubic foot ’24’ and ‘Living on the Edge’ official fridge! It will hold all beer consumed during our weekly ’24’ Drinking Game, ‘Living on the Edge’ internet radio show heard from https://www.livingontheedgeradio.com, and all other times as desired. Since we will be returning to college soon, it seemed only fitting to have our own official beer fridge. Party on!!!

Max Has Fetch Dog Treat Birthday(age 3): Picture of the Day for March 20, 2009
Max enjoyed his second Birthday cake from Fetch Dog Treats in Augusta. I have been getting birthday cakes from Tara Scheyer at Fetch since Titan came home from LD and had his second birthday. Titan and Max love to visit Fetch as this is the only store where we take them out of harness and let them run free. They think they own the place! Tara and Kevin are always so good to them. Since we moved to St Pete, we haven’t been able to have the large peanut butter birthday cakes for the boys. We still get occasional Fetch shipments from the boys’ fans back home and from their Mama, Whistler, in Michigan. We sure do miss our Fetch family!!
Juneau Waterfall: Picture for March 4, 2009
The Alaskan scenery was breathtaking! This picture was taken at the salmon bake that we attended in Juneau, Alaska. It was a welcome change from the Florida heat and lack of vividness in the Earth’s colors. Awesome trip!!
Red Dog Saloon: Picture for March 5, 2009
We had a fun afternoon in Juneau, Alaska at the Red Dog Saloon with Jane Kidd. It was an old timey sing along with piano player, Phineus Poon with saw dust on the saloon floor and plenty of Alaskan Ale. The boys got saw dust on their fur from laying at our feet in it. As the picture shows, the shopping had already begun. We had the time of our lives on that trip.
Juneau, Alaska Scene: Picture for March 6, 2009
Another happy memory of our Alaska Cruise in 2007. Wewent to a salmon bake in Juneau, Alaska where we totally pigged out before we shopped until we dropped. The food was awesome and the local brew was the best. We actually took a load off at the Red Dog Saloon before the shopping began. We had a blast!!!
Sharing With Sippi: Picture for March 14, 2009
Sippi and I shared a pretzel ‘Lady and the Tramp’ style on our vacation to Daytona Beach, FL with Barbara (my evil twin) Lariscy and Cynthia McKinney (Matriarch of Klingon House Yehsreh). That was a vacation that will never be forgotten. Sippi got to go to Disney World twice as well as accompanied us on the rest of our week long blast. Those were the days!!
Soul Survival
Life has two guarantees – taxes and death.
How much can one soul endure before that final release from life’s bondage?
It’s all about control, or the lack there of.
Life’s challenges, big and small, are to build endurance of character after all.
Where do I stand now?
What have I accomplished?
What do I have to show for my years on the planet?
Where do I go from here?
God? God? Do you hear?
God? God? Are you really there?
God? God? What now?
God? God? Why?
Every time I feel that my choices are Will driven, I find myself wondering if they were truly God given.
Tired? I am truly tired of my journey’s discernment.
I can’t wait for release upon the body’s interment.
Control? How? With what means?
Smoking? Drinking? Eating? Drugs? Buying new things?
Control over my final release from all the stress, disappointment, confusion, financial struggle? Will my soul ever find its tired way home?
At this point, I don’t know.
The guarantee of death is the only way to go.
Control? I say so.
Psyching Up For ’24’: Picture for March 11, 2009
Wil psyches himself up for another ’24’ adventure. We had our patio screened in almost a year ago. We both enjoy spending hours and hours out there in the fresh air. Florida is the perfect place to have a screened porch as it is rarely too cold to sit outside. This season of ’24’ is awesome!!! I can’t wait till next week!!!
Titan on Augusta Porch: Picture for February 6,
I’m way behind on my Picture of the Day entries. I will be updating these as I have installed my favorite phot editing software on the laptop. This picture of Titan was taken on a nice day that we had a cookout using Wil’s new gas grill that his parents gave him for graduation. Titan sits pretty waiting for attention from Adriennah before she moved to Albany,NY.
My New Toy: Picture for February 5, 2009
Why have I been slacking on posting my Picture of the Day? This picture makes it self explanatory. I have been playing with my new laptop. Wil is getting a Netbook and I got the laptop for our new school adventure which will hopefully begin in May. It is a very nice system that Wil spotted on Office Max for 588.00 after the inclusion of taxes. It has a 2GHZ Duo Core processor with 2MB cache; 4GB RAM; 250GB Hard Drive; DVD R/W optical drive with double layer support; 15.6 inch display; integrated wireless card with blue tooth; card reader; built in webcam and microphone; and weighs about 5 pounds. The battery life is only 3 hours; but I can get an extra one. It runs Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit and has a very sensitive touch pad with tapping technology. The keyboard is also very responsive with a very light touch. It also has a number pad like my desktop which makes it easier for me. ZoomText now has a 64bit beta that I am running with no problems. This should serve my needs well for some time to come.
