Wil and I celebrated our delayed honeymoon on an Alaska cruise August 31st through September 5, 2007. We had an awesome time! It was Wil, Max, and Titan’s first cruise; and my third (the first two were with Sippi). We look forward to the day when we can do it again. We took this cruise through Damar Travel. There were 63 people and 21 dog guides in our group. Carnival Cruise Lines provided excellent service as far as accomodating the visually impaired passengers. All three of my cruises have been with them; and our future cruises will also be with them.

Mississippi: Picture for January 21, 2009
This is a picture of Mississippi ‘Sippi’, my first Leader Dog. He was issued to me on November 3, 1994; and died on January 21, 2002 of lymphoma at nine and a half. He was an awesome dog! I believe he is reincarnated in Wil’s current Leader Dog, Max. They look alot alike in that they have very similar personalities, are very strong (physically and in will power), stubborn, and very loving. If Max is not Sippi’s reincarnation, then he sure channels Sippi’s spirit often. He has been gone for seven years; but is never far from my heart.
My Honda Civic: Picture for January 20, 2009
This is a picture of me the day I purchased my one and only new car before loosing most of my eyesight. Iwas able to drive for 11 years before my retina disease showed up in 1993. The last time I drove my car was to the gas station to fill it up before going to the hospital for retinal surgery on October 23, 1993. I gave the car to Rosy as she was in college. It was an awesome car; and I still miss driving it today.
Tug-a-War: Picture for January 19, 2009
The boys love each other. They love to tug on woobies. Sometimes this results in a heinous murder scene with woobie guts strewn everywhere. It still amazes me how much fluffy woobie guts fit inside one of those creatures along with its squeaker. The duck in the picture did not live to see St. Petersburg.
Glacier Bay: Picture for January 18, 2009
Wil and I went on an Alaska cruise over Labor Day of 2007. It was a life long dream come true for me. It was an awesome cruise! The trip to Glacier Bay on the way to Port Whittier was icing on the cake. I took more than 2000 picutres on the trip.
Ready For Action: Picture for January 16, 2009
Titan and Max wait patiently in the back of a friend’s car while gas and goods were purchased for a day at John’s Pass. My sister and niece visited for Thanksgiving in 2007. On this day, we ventured to John’s Pass to shop; ate at the Friendly Fisherman; and enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the Gulf of Mexico beach.
Dog Wanna Be: Picture for January 15, 2009
Adriennah has always loved dogs and loves to pretend that she is one. Thanksgiving of 2006 brought the Bennetts down from Albany and Wil up from St. Petersburg. That was our last holiday season in the Schley Street house in Augusta, Georgia.
Cat And Mouse: Picture for January 14, 2009
It was a common occurance during our visit to Albany in September of 2008 for the Bennett pussy, Princess, and Max to tantilize, tease, and chase each other all over the house. They provided all of us with hours of entertainment.
CatDog: Picture for January 13, 2009
This is a picture of Titan stretching excitedly after I announced “Feed the dog!” He is very vocal and animated anyway; but when I mention food, he stretches very deliberately and stiffly like a giant cat and approaches me with little growls and grins.
’24’ Drinking Game (Part II): Picture for January 12, 2009
Even though Wil cheated while I was gone to the mall today (watching episodes 3 and 4) , he played the ’24’ Drinking Game tonight for Season 7 Episodes 3 and 4. We had 8 beers each for episodes 1 and 2 last night and 9 each for episodes 3 and 4 tonight. I actually topped him and had 10 tonight. It’s a good thing it only happens once a week from here on out; every one might think we are lushes. LOL!!! After all, we live on the edge… always.
